Beijing: at night




This road near the Tienanmen Palace is filled with street-food vendors. There's food as fare as the eye can see, and fried starfish was one of the many things I tried.

Like fried scorpion, fried starfish is salty. The way that I am eating it in the photo is incorrect (I was only posing for the camera). The correct way to eat starfish is to break off each leg and open them with your fingers. You will find meat inside of each leg.
